Graphic

Design

Below are some projects created for my Graphic Communication and Advanced Graphics classes at UGA and through my job at the Special Collections Library. I am familiar with Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, and Canva.

Magazine Spread

I used InDesign to create this spread that goes along with the aesthetic of Good Grit Magazine.

Instagram Graphic

I used Photoshop to create this Instagram graphic for my favorite event of the year, Pugfest!!

Book Cover

I used Photoshop to create the cover art with the pie and gingham background. I used InDesign to create the overall layout.

Rack Card

I used Photoshop to create this rack card promoting an exhibit at the Special Collections Library. My design was printed by the library and handed out to guests attending the exhibit.

Repeating Pattern

I used Illustrator to create this repeating pattern based on some of my Christmas doodles. This pattern is intended to be printed on holiday wrapping paper. I created four possible color schemes.

Exhibit Poster

I used Photoshop to create this poster for a Spotlight on the Arts exhibit in Grady College. This poster uses bright colors, an aggressive seagull, and a single fact to express the overuse of plastic water bottles in America.

Logo Design

I used Illustrator and the image trace feature to create this logo for Collective Harvest, a CSA in Athens. I created the logo in black and white as well as color, and the design is based on a drawing I created.

Font Design

I used the online platform Calligraphr to create a font based on my handwriting. This included writing each individual letter, uploading my handwriting, and using online tools to tweak each letter.

Food Label Design

This was my first freelance graphic design work with a real client, Top Chops Beef Jerky, in July 2019. I created these labels for the company to use at a sponsorship event, following requirements to fit the FDA's regulations for food packaging.
