Marketing Research + Campaign for Shakti Power Yoga
Fall 2018
Integrated Marketing Communication
I worked with a team of 4 others to help a local yoga studio address the problem of how to get more men in the studio. I conducted primary and secondary research, worked directly with the studio's owner to gather information, and created the "Grab a Guy" campaign. Our goal was to target current studio members, primarily women, and use them to reach our target audience, males. We designed in-store assets, social media posts, and email templates to promote this campaign.

ADPR Train Safety Campaign for CSX

Advertising/PR Campaigns
I worked on a campaign with a class of 22 advertising and PR students for the freight train company CSX. We were asked to create a train safety campaign that could be applicable across college campuses in the U.S. We divided into the strategy, social, research, creative, and PR/events team to execute our train safety toolbox. We encouraged students to take a risk that's worth it, rather than making an encounter with train tracks an unnecessary risk. My main role was on the PR efforts, events, and study abroad scholarship details.

Measurement and Investment Strategy for Ladera Resort
Fall 2018
Digital Analytics
I researched Ladera Resort and created a plan for implementing a digital campaign promoting weddings at this facility. I suggested using Pinterest, email marketing, and Google Ads as my main platforms. I also suggested implementing Google Analytics to track progress with metrics and goals. I used Google Ads to create keywords to reach my target audience and created return on ad spend data for a hypothetical budget of $24,000.

Blind Donut Taste Test
Spring 2018
Consumer Behavior
I conducted a blind taste test to see which donut holes people preferred-- Krispy Kreme, Dunkin Donuts, or Kroger brand. We had participants rank sugar levels, greasiness, and overall enjoyment. The idea was to see how brand loyalty comes into play when we make our purchasing decisions.

I worked with a local art shop to create assets to help position the store as Athens's "one stop art shop." I created a PR plan that included a press release, fact sheet, speech, feature pitch and story, event plan, and social media assets.

We created a digital marketing campaign to increase awareness of Nedza's Waffles and help better communicate on their social platforms. ​
Marketing Research for Chicken Salad Chick

Marketing Research
I worked with a team of 4 peers to conduct quantitative and qualitative research for Chicken Salad Chick. We wanted to assess collegiate involvement with the brand and gathered our data by conducting a survey and focus group. We also used business statistics to find significant conclusions about our data before making suggestions.

PR Research for the University of Georgia Health Center

Public Relations Research
I worked with a team of 5 peers to conduct research for the UGA Health Center about the misconceptions students have around antibiotic use. We create a survey, conducted in-depth interviews, and coded secondary data articles relating to student's thoughts.
